The 2009 race season has begun!  Feb. 21, & 22, 2009 was the 28^th Annual Pacific Coast Indoor “Scotty Key Memorial”, held at the Solano County fairgrounds.

Hunter started the season with a vengeance.  His Light 160 class was one of the biggest classes.  Hunter had a fast car and stayed consistent thru the heat races.  The main event on Sunday, Feb. 22, 2009 was an exciting one.  Hunter started towards the back and worked his way up to the front, taking second place.  Lap traffic prevented Hunter from competing for the 1^st spot.  After discussing lap times with the 1^st place car, we can only wonder what an exciting finish it could have been.

Hunter even caught the eye of the Vallejo Times Herald, who photographed Hunter and a friend killing time between races.

Our team, family and friends are more anxious than ever to begin this race season.
